We can help you to establish where you will require Planning Permission and how to go about getting it in place in order to get your project started.
With all building work, it is ultimately the responsibility of the property (or land) owner in question to ensure that all legal requirements and paper work involving the Planning rules (and Building Regulations) are complied with. It is not the builder’s responsibility. However, Bishop Ltd can advise you on what will or will not require planning permission and, once the build has begun, communicate with either the client (with our Project Management service) or directly with the appropriate authorities (with our Turnkey service) in order to ensure all necessary checks are made when the project requires. We can also provide you with contact details of our certified architect if you so wish.
Remember Planning Permission must be in place before any building works can begin.
